Unwed Teacher Gets Canned

So how about the Catholic schoolteacher who was just canned for being pregnant outside of wedlock? Kudos to the school, I say. According to one story, she signed a contract stating that she would behave in a manner both professionaly and personaly that would reflect and uphold the tennants of the Church. The last time I checked, premarital sex is a big no-no in just about every religion, except maybe those freaky Unitarians.

I assume that most people have heard the arguments on the news that the Church is supposed to be forgiving. Actually, forgiveness is between her and God, and that forgivness doesn't negate the consequences of her actions.( ie If I wreck my car it is still totalled, regardless of wether the other driver is mad or not.)

Oh, and a word for the ACLU; butt out! Most Americans can't stand you, and you're little more than leagal muscle for poor people with frivilous lawsuits or annonamous wierdos with agendas.

On a side note, little kids are so cool. Its snowing where I am and I told my daughter to look out the window. She said," Its snowing! No wonder its so cold out!"

  1. I heard this on the radio. If she did sign such an agreement then certainly she should understand the school actions.

There seems to be some sort of different thing going on..It is horrific for a male teacher to have sex with a student but the other way around with a good looking good female teacher having sex with a male student is much more acceptable. Is that because most guys grew up fantasizing about having sex with one teacher or another and are jealous of these dudes?

You know, there does seem to be a double standard when it comes to the female teacher and male student.I have actually heard guys say something along the lines of 'Man, if I had a hot teacher I wouldv'e done her,too,' I think it is still rape; a fourteen year old is incapable of making adult decisions, therefore consent to sex is a void issue.
