Jack Carter Didn't Fall Far From The Tree

@ 04:14 PM (45 months, 20 days ago)
In a confusing and Kerry-esque moment, Jack Carter, son of former President Jimmy Carter announced his bid for the US Senate.

Speaking with the Associated Press' Kathleen Hennessey, Carter described his abortion views saying, "I'm a personal freedoms person. I don't want the government to come in and tell my child or whoever it is that they can't have an abortion.  I'm pro-choice as far as a woman choosing, but I'm against abortion."

HUH? Sorry, Jr. You can't have your cake and eat it, too.
Remember back in '76 when Jimmy Carter told a Catholic audience that he was against abortion, and also gave a speech to a 'feminist' group that he supported abortion rights?

Ah, memories...

  1. "I'm pro-choice as far as a woman choosing, but I'm against abortion"
Is that supposed to mean that he wouldn't opt for the procedure himself but as for a woman, well it's up to her... that's like:

"No thanks, honey, I'll have the fish - but you go ahead and get whatever you want."

Have we now equated abortion with ordering take out?

  2. Jack is obviously Kerry's bastard child, that naughty Mrs. Carter, who would have thought THAT about HER. She must have abused Jack as a child and inflicted permanent brain damage, er Kerryitis.

  3. I think the Kerryitis affliction is something President Bush should order funding for. Perhaps with the proper research, we could find a cure for this debilitating and terrible disease.

It is unbelievable that the,"I voted for it before I voted against it," example has not been well learned by the democratic party.
