Drop The Knife Or I Will Light You On Fire!
I found a story today that gives a very compelling lesson in obeying what the police say!
Dennis Crouch of Daytona Beach decided to have a standoff with police. He had a knife and refused to drop it, even cutting himself to show police how serious he was. Now, I may not be the smartest person around, but cutting yourself? Anyway, the police decided that rather than shoot and kill him, they would use tasers on him. And so, 50,000 two pronged volts were aimed at Crouch's chest, where they hit his shirt pocket and ignited his lighter, which exploded into flames.
Needless to say, he dropped the knife.
A police spokesman said the taser was working properly and, "I would call this beyond a rare fluke."
HAHAHAH! Talk about getting your just desserts!
