Invasion Of The Body Snatchers...
Get ready for a completely appaling tale...
Back in November, New York PD sent Det. Patricia O'Brien to the Daniel George and Son Funeral Home in Brooklyn to investigate a routine business dispute over money.
She got more than she bargained for: a hidden second-story room outfitted like a makeshift OR, directly over where bodies were normally embalmed. The hidden room contained a surgical table and bright overhead lights, and FedEx receipts with the names of companies that purchase human tissue from cadavers for use in surgical procedures.

Last week prosecutors charged four men, including a former dentist who surrendered his liscense due to a Demerol addiction, with running a multi-million dollar illegal tissue harvasting ring. The men sold the body parts, stolen from dead bodies who had not consented to tissue donation to legitimate companies that supply hospitals around the US. Prosecutors estimate that hundreds of unsuspecting people have recieved untested black market body parts used in procedures such as joint and heart valve replacements, back surgery, dental implants and skin grafts. One man has even contracted hepatitis as a result of recieving a donor bone.
The once dentist opened a company which appeared legit and was even registered with the FDA. The company, Biomedical Tissue Services, could pull in about $7,000 for a single harvested body, and he was doing a multi- million dollar business.
To hide the evidence of their crimes, the men would dissect corpses at night, looting bones and replacing them with cheap pvc pipe, and stuffed the body with their gowns, gloves and other surgical disposables to give the body fullness after removing organs. They would then stitch the body back together and present it for burial, the family none the wiser. After pilaging the bodies the men would forge death certificates to hide that the tissue had often been rejected as donors for being too old or sick.
And the kicker? If convicted, the men involved could face a whopping 25 years in prison. How vile.

Perhaps they could be executed in the partial birth abortion style; brains sucked out with a needle. That could be an effective demonstration for congress...Betcha we'd get some legislation passed then!
